Rafi Tanaka
Senior Rafi Tanaka is a first year journalist for the Novato High Swarm. Tanaka attended San Marin High until spring of 2019 and played on the varsity softball team for the Mustangs since her freshman year. She swam competitively on the Alabang Orcas in the Philippines then switched over to softball after moving to California. Tanaka played on sponsored teams such as Easton Elite and NorCal Bownet for nine years as a pitcher and outfielder. She can be found driving along the coast or sitting on Mount Tamalpais with her two dogs, Blu and Milo. She also enjoys music festivals; she attended Outside Lands Music Festival as a first timer this past August and hopes to continue attending various music festivals. Tanaka plans to open up her own cafe in a small town along the coast, a dream she inherited from her mother.
